Okay what if a movie adaptation of Resident Evil 4, and it is like aggressively disconnected from the existing film canon and also deeply fantastical and silly and bizarre the entire time.

Then in the final act the movie is interrupted by like Chris Redfield and a few other characters as depicted in the films just finally having enough of Leon's bullshit and questioning his narrative.

Cut to a shot of everyone sitting around a campfire in the post apocalypse and Leon is there dressed like mad max but with perfectly coiffed hair getting all indignant and saying "hey, who's telling this story, you or me?"
